ICMP is an independent, international organization and is not part of the United Nations system.
Salary, benefits and allowances vary depending on contract type, level of position, length of contract and location.
Positions filled by expatriates are eligible for a benefit package that includes an expatriate premium (foreign living allowance), education grants for dependent children and allowances to assist in defraying costs in moving to and settling into a new country.
ICMP provides a comprehensive social security scheme, including extended health worldwide benefit coverage, emergency evacuation provisions, insurance coverage for catastrophic life events, including life insurance and a generous retirement fund provision.
