Simon Short has been working in international organizations for almost 25 years. He served with the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) in Sinai, Egypt from 1992-2001 and with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) from 2003-2013 in various senior resource planning, administrative, and risk management roles. He later served with the European Border Assistance Mission in Libya as a planning and procurement adviser to the Libyan border management agencies. In 2014, he joined the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), where he headed the budget, planning and control team before joining ICMP in November 2016.
Mr. Short has worked on assignments throughout the Middle East, the Balkans and Central Asia and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (with Distinction) from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland.
