HR/EUSR Lajčák tours ICMP facilities in Tuzla

HR/EUSR Lajčák tours ICMP’s Podrinje Identification Project in Tuzla6 March 2008: The High Representative and EU Special Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Miroslav Lajčák, visited the facilities of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) in Tuzla today. In his first visit to ICMP, the HR/EUSR toured the Podrinje Identification Project (PIP) and the Identification Coordination Division (ICD).Accompanied by the ICMP Chief Operating Officer, Adam Boys, the HR/EUSR first visited PIP, established to assist in resolving the specific problems related to the identification of persons missing from the 1995 fall of Srebrenica, and where mortal remains of these victims are examined and stored until final identification.
